Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Traditional Chinese Medicine has been known for more than 2000 years. The concept of TCM is completely different from Western medicine. Western medicine tries to find single symptoms and causes of disease, while the TCM has a holistic view on the individual.

From a Chinese perspective, a disease is not limited to local symptoms. In addition to physical symptoms it has a counterpart in the entire arrangement of an individual. This includes the emotions, the social environment, the climate and nutrition.

TCM sees a person as a sole entity which includes body, mind and soul. Therefore, the physical, mental and psychological conditions are equally important for the assessment of somebone’s health TCM is of particular importance for diseases, which cannot be sufficiently treated with Western Medicine.

Prevention is another focus of Chinese medicine. TCM is able to rebuild the inner and outer equilibrium in the early stages of disease and can strengthen physical and intellectual capacities.
