Herbs
Chinese Herbal Medicine is an essential part of TCM. In TCM plant extracts from roots, bark, flowers and foliage, as well as minerals and some animal products are used. Usually, several different herbs and substances are combined with each other. This allows the creation of a medicine, which is adapted to individual conditions and diseases, which can be a so-called Decoction (Tea), a powder or be administered as a pill.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture regulates and improves the flow of energy, the Qi. In TCM, the Qi flows within a network of meridians (also known as channels or guiding paths), which connect the acupuncture points as well as the inner organs with each other. The precise needling of an acupuncture point with a metal needle influences and modulates the Qi. The treatment aims to release blockages, to strengthen the flow of Qi and to remove pathogenic Qi from the body. Diseases and pain in particular are mainly caused by a disturbed flow of Qi.

Traditionally, the term acupuncture means classic body acupuncture. In addition to classic body acupuncture, I also use the abdominal acupuncture (belly acupuncture) known as “turtle acupuncture“ acc. to.\ Professor Bo Zhiyun and as „Bakuo“, which was established after long-term research in China.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a therapy in which acupuncture points are stimulated by heat. The heat is created by burning dry Artemisia herbs (Mugwort/Moxa). This heat is very beneficial and strengthening to the body.
Cupping
Cupping is a treatment in which stimulation is given by creating a vacuum under cupping glasses (cups). Before placement the glasses are heated to create a vacuum. A therapeutic suction improves perfusion and metabolism. Cupping is preferably used for muscle tension, joint disorders and for treatment of cellulite. Usually glass cups are used for this therapy.
Dietetics
Since ancient times Chinese people have evaluated food for energetic healing effects. This allows us to treat and to prevent disorders with special foods. An individual can find out which food is really helpful for their well being.
GuaSha
Another well-established TCM technique is „Gua Sha“. Gua Sha is similar to cupping and has stimulating effects on skin, tissue, lymphatic system, meridians, bone tissue and muscles. The region of interest is pre-treated with oil and then the surface is rubbed with a rounded object.
